Area Evacuation Plans:

The links below are for an Evacuation Plan for the Cascade Shores Development next to Scotts Flat Lake (funded by the USFS with matching funds from the District), Banner Mountain, Red Dog Road, Loma Rica, and Greenhorn Areas (funded by a grant obtained through Nevada County OES); Alta Sierra, Lode Star & Dog Bar Areas;    Deer Creek, Morgan Ranch & Slate Creek Area; and the Great Bloomfield Area. Although the evacuation routes are specific to the areas above, much of the rest of the information and checklists are applicable to all parts of the Fire District such as:

 

·        The importance of preparation of your home and property for self defense.

 

·        Possible evacuation destinations

 

·        How to stay informed

 

·        A 2 page checklist to help you create and/or review your family emergency plan.

 

 

Remember, Preparedness Starts with You!

Nevada County Consolidated Fire District has reviewed the content of this program and strongly support recommendations outlined in the program.  We urge you to review this program and practice the recommendations.  This has been approved by the State of California and is being recommended for National adoption.
