Nevada County Fire District personnel train 10,000's of hours every year, this includes EMS, fire, ropes rescue, hazmat, swift water rescue, vehicle extrication and many more topics. Nevada County Fire District trains at different locations all over the district including individual stations, the Fire Training Center at Sierra College, the Yuba River, and through-out the community. If you see any NCCFD units out training feel free to stop, watch and ask questions.
