Nevada County Consolidated Fire District is developing a reserve program and will be accepting applications soon. The reserve program will be comprised of non-suppression positions and will be open to anyone 18 years of age or older. These reserve positions will handle any task from department photographer, paperwork, hydrant maintenance to setting up water and food at major incidents.
